GoKids Started in 2000, with the aim of introducing interesting articles, colouring in for young children. We worked hand in hand with companies who contributed articles to the site.

Today, our focus has shifted to concentrate on seminars and workshops to both students and parents. Our aim is to empower students, both primary and secondary to success in their endeavours; as well as Parents and Carers to gain valuable parenting skills.

Our philosophy: We believe that “Doing” is better than “Telling”. It is easy to tell someone what “to do” and what “to think”….However, at GoKids, we bring the “awareness directly to the children.

Our aim is to encourage students to be successful, healthy and wise in the classroom and beyond. Our focus is a happy and balanced child, and one who is motivated, excited and successful in his or her endeavour in life. Let them learn the skills now and practice them throughout their schooling, in the workforce and beyond….It is never too early to start!!

GOKIDS SEMINARS

For GoKids Seminars, we normally invite the parents as well as the students to attend the seminar sessions together. At each session, we have two or three speakers, who introduce interesting topics revolving around the theme “Health”, “Wealth” and “Well Being”. The Seminars cater for both primary and secondary students. The topics vary around “Health”, “Wealthy” and “Well Being”, but will be age relevant.

GOKIDS WORKSHOPS

The workshops are predominantly catered for High School students. The workshop topics cover areas that advance the development of the emotional competencies of the students.

Topic such as:

• Effective Time and Stress Management
• Success Habits and Strategies for Teenagers
• Discover your Dream Career
• We are in the process of working extended workshops for senior high school students.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

All our speakers are highly skilled and are expert in their field. They may be a personal coach, business consultant or practicing professionals etc. GoKids Workshops for high school students are normally a whole day workshop. There will be talks, exercises and activities, break for meals and a lots of lots of Q & A. Our workshops will always be FUN, INTERACTIVE AND EFFECTIVE! We guarantee that you will have learned a new skill by the end of the workshop.

Cost of Workshops

The cost of workshop reflects the quality of the presentation. Our speakers are highly skilled and are an expert in their field. The fee is a per day rate, but we have specials for families and if you combine workshops.

Our fees (effective until 31st December)
On average, we charge $55 each or $150.00 per family (up to 4) for a 3 to 4 hours seminar; and $180.00 per one-day workshop per student. The High School students’ workshops are very specialised and run for about 6-8 hours. We provide all the materials, food; and our GoKids money back guarantee.

Early Bird Specials: Watch out for our early bird specials, which we normally release as soon as the workshops and venues are confirmed.

Who Are We?

GoKids Workshops and Seminars are a part of GoKids, where our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children. We introduce fun, interactive and effective life skills and success strategies to children as well as parents.

How?

We source and invite the best speakers for children to make the workshops and seminar fun, interactive and effective. Our workshops and seminars will be introduced through our website (shortly), where you can log in to watch and listen to past workshops by topics or where you can enroll in one of our workshops and seminars close to you.

How We Do It

FOR PARENTS:

We source the best speakers for children and teenagers, and make the workshops and seminars really fun, interesting and educational. This ensures that the children will learn and have fun at the same time. All our topics are specially selected for their rich content and the well being of our families. We will also be inviting the public to suggest topics that they are interested in.

Parents and carers are required to accompany primary school children to both seminars as well as workshops. Occasionally we run Seminars for High School students and will invite the parents to join the session as well.

Benefits of Parents’ involvement:

(2) Be able to reinforce what is being presented on that day and support your child/children with the new skills.

High School Students – Ages 12+

High School students are encouraged to attend the workshops on their own. Normally the workshops run for a whole day; otherwise, it will be stated on the workshop registration page.

From time to time, we run seminars for High School Students; the topics covered will still be Success Strategies as well as Health, Wealth and Well Being. We will be inviting parents to attend the seminar with their children.

WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS TO SCHOOLS

We run workshops and seminars for high schools.

Workshop: Whole day workshops for high school students for years 7-12
Seminar: A mini workshop/seminar for parents during a P & C meeting.

We will try to make as much information available to our community for FREE, however some of the webminiars, workshops and seminars, we will have to charge a minimal fee for them.
