Make A Difference
Let’s make a difference this February.
This seminar is for Teenagers as well as Parents and Carers
At GoKids, we believe that every child should have the right to strive for excellence. As part of GoKids ongoing support of our community, we would like to run a seminar specially for teenagers who are from a disadvantaged group in the community.
Why are we doing this? We would like to provide an opportunity and avenue for all teenagers to learn the skills to channel their energies constructively into the things that matter most to their success. Let’s help them to find PURPOSE in life, and FOCUS and MOTIVATION in what they do.
Topics to be discussed on the day
- Mind Set – Goal Setting and Self Esteem – Ms. Kristen Hansen 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Know Your Brain, Achieve Your Dreams - Passion Mapping – Mr. Peter Wallman 2.10 – 3.10
Using the power of passion to make important life decisionsMost young people spend their educational years in learning knowledge and skills to use in their careers. However many still long to understand how to make career and life decisions, not something we usually learn at school. How do we do this?I believe that we all have within us the capacity to access that part of ourselves that already knows the answers. And passion can help us do so. But exactly what is passion? and how can I know what passions I uniquely have? and how can i use those insights in the most useful way.
- Financial Literacy For teenagers - Mr. Dominic Siow 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Learn the building blocks for developing long term wealth- Planning for a secure financial future
- Strategies for creating wealth
- Creating the “abundance” mindset
- Managing money

Why Parents should attend this seminar with their children?
For children to improve, it is important that the parents and carers attend this seminar together with their child or children. In order to fully appreciate the benefit of this seminar, both adults and teenagers need to work together. We believe that by doing so, both the parents and child will indirectly establish a strong bonding.
